Spring Break Con't.

While my family was here we did a little sightseeing. We went to the beach one day and ate lunch at Taco Surf...Yum! Another day I took my cousin to Disneyland with some friends. The next day we went to Sea World.

Easter

This is a pic of my brother, sister and only cousin (on my dad's side). We had easter brunch at our house. Here are some pics of the yummy food.

4 generations

I had family drive/fly in from Sacramento, Oregon, and Idaho. There were 11/19 cousins (on my mom's side) together on Easter. We now have 4 2nd cousins (great-grandchildren). We were all able to spend Easter together.

Spring Break

During my first week off I went to the Wild Animal Park and Sea World with some friends. The animals were amazing! I hadn't been to the WAP in a couple of years. I saw some interesting sightings. The lions were guarding their vehicle and there was a mother with her cubs. The butterfly exhibit is now open. I didn't get the pleasure of one landing on me, but a lady walked out of the exhibit with a butterfly stuck to her shirt! The WAP also had a Red Kangaroo on exhibit, which was quite cute.

My family came in to town for Easter. I will post some pics of our visit soon.

spring

Spring is near. Did you remember to turn your clocks ahead an hour? I love this time of year. I love to watch the flowers bloom and the beautiful green hills. San Diego hasn't had much rain this year, but if you look around you can see God's amazing creation. Here is a picture of a bouquet I bought for our Easter brunch and another bouquet I bought myself at the store last week. I love Gerber Daisies! This picture reminded me of my wedding, so I posted a picture of my beautiful bouquet of Roses and Gerber Daisies.

P.S. I added a couple of new pictures on some old posts (no worries and busy). Check them out!

sick...again

Now I have the flu. I have aches and pains and a fever along with another symptom of which I won't share. I called the doctor to see if there was any relation to the sigmoidoscopy that I had on Thursday. She said that it sounded like the flu and it just so happened to hit my system after the procedure.

My time is up working with my 1st graders. The teacher returns on Monday for a transition day. I will also be there on Tuesday for report cards. I pray that my health will be renewed, so that I will have the energy to teach and complete report cards. Spring Break is coming up and I am really excited, because I'll be able to relax...yah right! I won't be around young children who expose you to so many illnesses. I will miss them as I hope they'll miss me, but I am glad to move on and have 2 weeks to catch up on life.

Sorry Rachel, but I won't be able to make the birthday party as I don't want to get everyone sick. Tommy will hopefully be there. Tell everyone I said hello!
